Everton have agreed a deal to take Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City, with a medical for the England international reportedly being scheduled today. The deal still needs to be finalised, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The 29-year-old midfielder, a player highly admired by Everton manager David Moyes, is eager to secure regular first-team football as he aims to force his way back into the England setup ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
Determined to be in peak condition for the new campaign, Grealish has been working closely with a personal trainer to ensure he is ready to make an immediate impact at Everton.
Should the Grealish move go through, he will become Everton’s fifth new signing this summer, following Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, Adam Aznou, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
