Burnley have struck a deal with Everton for the signature of Aaron Lennon. An undisclosed fee has been agreed between the two clubs. A medical is still to be completed but personal terms have been agreed. The 30-year-old winger will depart Everton after three years...
Ian Anthony Corcoran gutted 100% proper professional, good luck Aaron keep that smile on your face and keep growing fella your an inspiration ( ps way to good for a pub club like Burnley )
Bren Connolly If the other 9 had put in as much effort as Arron, over the last few months, we'd be in a much better position.
Good luck to the lad.
Gareth 'Cortez' Coates Bit surprised by that, always has an impact when he plays. Thats 2 wingers out in Mirallas and now Lennon and only Walcott brought in. At least this means Lookman might get more of a look in.
Paul Grundy Love Lennon, top pro, loves Everton and be pissed off to see him go tbh, still has something to offer I think 😡
Ian Moore At least he is going to a club with ambition. I am sure his transfer fee will go to join the missing Arteta, and Lukaku money.
Gary Ashworth I know Allardyce commented that it's unlikely there will be anymore transfers, which surprises me given we need an adequate replacement for Baines (someone left-footed). He said the focus is on trimming down the squad, which I understand. But I had hoped Lennon would stay. Lookman is competition for Bolasie and Lennon could have been competition for Walcott. I hope it works out for him.
Tony Wooderson Gutted really. He looked head and shoulders above every other player when he came on last week.
Abigail De Mouchet Bailey Lookman and vlasic may get a look in now. I will miss Arron though quality player and good all round fella good luck. Now for sneiderlin and besic. Hopefully not niasse or Sandro
Sheridan Sefton Cuco martina , Niasse Williams , McCarthy all need off for me first and Robles let’s free up some wage bills first
Albi Eaton I thought as much having signed Walcott, two similar player's, would rather see Arron getting a game , than being on bench, good luck to a great professional.
Bobby Frankenstein Potter an asset to any team, total commitment, 60 rather than 90 minute player these days, sad to see him leave, although big sam played him more, the system/tactics did not get the best out of him .
Brian Ferguson Good pro but lets be honest, he has influenced very very few games this yr. He has lost his pace and hasnt got much of a Plan B. Always gave his best, it just wasnt winning us any points. Same as Mirallas altho he is just a moaning tosspot anyway. Wasted talent. So two senior wingers and two young back up wingers. Happy with them.
Darren Holland Really sorry to see him go...always gave it everything on the pitch...never stopped working and closing down opposition. I wish him all the very best.
Dean Corbet It's funny comparing the 2 wingers we've let go. Mirallas with all the skill in the world but no heart to back it up, and Lennon with all the heart and work ethic but missing that end product. Imagine the player we'd have had if super kev had Lennons heart!
Carl Pallett Gutted his speed combined with wallcott could have been amazing prob one of the only players that always gave it his 100% never gave in chased everything and a true pro even when shit was going wrong wrong good luck at ure new club
Danny Smith Nice guy and wish him well at Burnley. Probably came to us a few years late to really be effective but always put a shift in.
Steve Birch Good luck to him. Top class pro who always put a shift in for us even when no one else around him was.
Kevin Robson Has been a great player for us bit if Bolassi and Coleman are back fit he would not get a game ...sensible move for everybody ...
Giles Smith Lovely bloke. Decent footballer six years ago. He wouldn’t get in most top ten sides so hardly a shock. Seem big sam is upgrading wisely with Theo.
Mohd Edf Azlan So we can see Vlasic and Lookman got chance to play.. and good luck to you Lennon, always remember your hardworking and inspiration fighting mental illness. Good Luck!
Dan Parko Was never a fan of his but he his first half season was a stunner and he just seem to fade away...good luck at Burnley im sure Dyche's tactics will prove better suited to Lennons style
Adam David Shouldn't be leaving the club. Going forward and protecting for jonjo, he offers the best of both out of all wingers at the moment
Andrew Budge Always tried his best, got his head down and worked for the team. Came back from his personal issues, and best of all...he wears old school black boots.
All the best to him.
Billy Hughes We should not be selling Lennon, but good luck lad been an attribute for us always gives 💯, good signing for Burnley though
Abdul Cabdullahi And them we Get surprised when he dominates games for Burnley. Good luck, always professional, determined and hardworking guy. Burnley will suit him very well.
