Nathan Patterson has given Everton a boost by confirming he’s nearly back to full fitness.
“Yeah, I am doing well. I am nearly back, next week hopefully. I am recovering well” Patterson shared on Everton Live.
The 21-year-old right back had a strong start to the season but has been out for the past month after twisting his ankle during Scotland’s 3-0 victory over Ukraine in the Nations League on September 21 at Hampden Park.
Nathan Patterson: “It is part of the game, you can get injured, but it is obviously how you recover. I have been working hard with the physios and just making sure I rehab properly and get back as soon as possible.
“I was doing really well and picking up good form and the team was doing well.
“It was disappointing to have to come out of the team and just watch from the sidelines and not help at certain points.
“Hopefully I can get back in the team as soon as possible.”
