A selection of Everton fan groups are calling on Evertonians to leave their seats at Goodison Park on the 27th minute during Monday nights match against Arsenal, as a message to the clubs board that 27 years without a trophy in unacceptable.
The campaign #27MinutesFor27Years will see some fans will leave their seat and occupy the concourse until the second half, while others will leave the stadium completely.
In a statement fan groups have said “27 years without a trophy is unacceptable. Show your feet on 27 minutes during the game against Arsenal on Monday evening and leave your seat. Let’s show that the incompetence from the top at Everton Football Club cannot continue.”
