Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium Approved

Everton’s 52,888 capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock has been unanimously approved by Liverpool City Council’s planning committee.

As is standard practice for a development of this size and scale, the Bramley-Moore Dock application will now be referred to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government. If The Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP does not overturn the planning committee’s decision to approve, that decision will stand.

Everton hope to host games at Bramley-Moore Dock site as early as 2024.

Under the plans, the 52,888-seater ground, which will cost an estimated £500m, could host up to four pop concerts a year as well as weddings, funerals, Christmas parties and conferences.
