AS Monaco have agreed a deal with Everton to sign Henry Onyekuru, report L’Equipe.
The French report that a fee has been agreed as well as personal terms for Onyekuru and he will head to Monaco today to undergo a medical.
Everton signed Onyekuru for £7m in July 2017 but didn’t make an appearance for the club after repeated attempts to secure a work permit were declined.
The 21-year-old striker bagged an impressive 16 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray while on loan last season. After he scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir to secure the league title in May , he thanked Everton for the support.
Onkyekuru: “I thank God for this success and it was only possible because of a great team, the support of everyone here and at Everton as well”.
