Everton are on the verge of signing Brazilian talent Bernard, according to reports.
The Daily Mail claim Everton have held off the challenge of a number of clubs at home and abroad including Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and West Ham to secure the signing of Brazilian Winger Bernard and that “the deal is on the brink of being announced, subject to a work permit”
Naturally a left winger, the Brazil international is versatile enough to play in all areas of midfield and attacking areas and is well known for moving the ball effectively into the channels.
The 26-year-old has been the subject of plenty of speculation regarding his future after it emerged that he would not be renewing his contract at Shakhtar Donetsk where he spent five years following a £25m move.
