[tps_title]1. 1986-89 Home[/tps_title]
Extremely rare home shirt with chequered vintage Umbro design and classic NEC sponsor memorably donned by the great side who became champions in 86-87. Despite losing Lineker to Barcelona and contending with an injury list which included the likes of Reid, Southall and Mountfield, Howard Kendall led the side to their second title in three years – an outstanding achievement against all the odds at the time. With a small Umbro logo and crest, the multi-tone chequered pattern did all the work on this one – tying the shirt to the period with a bold template which was also donned by other Umbro teams including Celtic, Man City and West Brom.
