McCarthy one away from ban

James McCarthy will serve a one-match suspension if he collects another yellow card between now and 31 December 2015.

Meaning the midfielder could be walking a disciplinary tightrope for Everton’s next eight fixtures after he picked up his fourth booking this season against West Ham this afternoon for a challenge on Dimitri Payet.
