Joel Robles has thanked fans for their support following his pivotal role in Everton’s League Cup fourth round win over Norwich City.
Robles: “I am enjoying playing in this competition. I want to play of course, but goalkeeper is a different situation. But I work every day – it is my job to be ready. I played this game and now I am only thinking about the next one.
“I am very happy that we won, not only for me but for my teammates. We needed to win this game to be able to think about the next round and it was important for us.
“It was so important having the fans, not just behind me in the goal, but everywhere. I want to thank them for their support, not just for me but for all of my teammates. We’re very happy to be through.”
