Roberto Martinez has provided injury updates ahead of Everton’s visit to West Brom on Monday night.
Martinez: “We have been pleased with John’s (Stones) reaction to treatment in the last two days.
“I still think the next 48 hours are going to be important and I wouldn’t say that he isn’t going to be in the squad – it’s too early to make a decision. It will be touch-and-go for the West Brom.
“Seamus is already working on the grass so he could well be involved in the game on Monday.
“Both he and John have been progressing well, as have everyone else who has been receiving treatment.”
“The squad should be the same that we had against Reading and Swansea, with the possibility of having John and Seamus in that squad.
“Tom (Cleverley) avoided surgery and tomorrow he will be running on the grass and he wants to play against Manchester United.
“That is a realistic target and is three weeks earlier than we thought. Leighton (Baines) is the same.”
“Bryan Oviedo is fine and working with the group tomorrow and so is Aiden McGeady.
“Tony Hibbert will be on the grass after the international break, as will Steven Pienaar.”
