Roberto Martinez has dismissed recent concerns suggesting Gerard Deulofeu could miss the start of the premier league season through injury.
Martinez: “Gerry felt his hamstring in our game against Arsenal. It’s not a real concern.
“It’s an injury that I don’t think will stop him from starting the league campaign. The physicality of Gerard Deulofeu is a sprinter and we need to make sure that he is fully recovered before he can be back on the football pitch.
“I would expect him to be there, or thereabouts for the Watford game”
