Snodin surprises fan

Everton Ambassador Ian Snodin went to Lancashire on Tuesday to reward the first person to purchase a 2015/16 Season Ticket.

Anthony David was paid a special visit by Snods at his home in Cleveleys after becoming the first person to renew his Everton Season Ticket on Monday 23 February, the first day on which 2015/16 Season Tickets went on sale, taking advantage of the Club’s Early Bird discount.

After being flabbergasted by the sight of Ian Snodin on his doorstep, he invited him in for a cup of tea and discussed all things Everton with the former Blues defender.

“It was a massive surprise – I almost shut the door in his face!” said Anthony. “I didn’t expect a player to turn up at my house and it is a real honour to have someone like Ian stop by and say hello.

“Everton means everything to me. It’s a massive part of my life, I’ve been a Season Ticket holder for 13 years and my weekends just wouldn’t be the same without them.”
The Club launched their 2015/16 Season Ticket Campaign ‘Chosen’ last Monday and has been keen to reward its Season Ticket holders and reinforce its commitment to ensuring Goodison Park remains affordable for fans of all ages by placing a freeze on ALL Season Ticket prices for the 2015/16 season.

Anthony added: “The Chosen video is brilliant and I think it will inspire a lot of people to renew their Season Tickets.

“It has plenty of Club legends in there with the likes of Duncan Ferguson, who, for me, epitomises everything Everton is about.”

Adult Season Tickets start at £444, with Concession Season Tickets available from £328. Pricing for children under 11* remains at £95 (equating to £5 per game) while Junior Season Tickets (under 16s**) are also frozen at £149 in the Family Enclosure and £199 throughout the remainder of the stadium.

The window for Early Bird Discount has been extended to Sunday, May 24, offering a minimum 25 per cent saving for renewing and returning Season Ticket holders when compared to purchasing on an individual game basis. For the first time new Season Ticket holders will benefit from the same discount.

Payment plan options remain in place and last year a record number of fans took up the opportunity to secure their Season Ticket through the Everton MasterCard nine-month interest-free offer or Direct Debit, allowing up to ten monthly instalments.

With the record number of Season Ticket holders and the number of sold-out home games already in 2014/15, supporters are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount to secure the best seats in the house.

2015/16 Season Tickets are availabe to purchase now in person at the Goodison Road Box Office, Everton Two, online on evertonfc.com/chosen or by phone on 0871 663 1878.***
