Roberto Martinez has praised his sides performance against Chelsea and believes Everton deserved something from the match.
Martinez: “It was a performance full of spirit and full of really good concentration defensively,
“I thought we were very strong in that respect and we created the best chances. The two saves from Petr Cech, they are world-class.
“The second yellow card is very harsh [for Barry] and then it’s a very unfortunate goal to give away. It goes through the legs of a player and it ends up in the back of the net.
“But you look at our overall performance, I don’t think we deserved to lose that.
“You look at the manner in which we did it is quite hurtful but the manner allows us to continue our good level of performance and look forward to the next game.”
