Everton will face Swansea City away in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
The draw was made on Wednesday night after the last fixtures of the second round were played. The tie will be played the week commencing 22 September.
Everton beat Stevenage 2-1 in the second round of the cup last season but their journey came to an end against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
But having qualified for European football by finishing fifth, the third round is the entry round this time around.
A date for the fixture and ticket information will be announced by the Club in due course.
