1) Hi LiamTheBaggie, Welcome to GrandOldTeam, tell us a bit about yourself.
I´m a comedian and local legend. I have my own supporters club, I´m gorgeous and all the girls love me. Being serious, I´m a young lad, rather witty and a passionate supporter of not only the Albion, but Rangers (que the abuse). I´m generally like marmite, I can be hilarious, but I can also be annoying, I guess it depends on the person as to whether they like me or not.
2) How did you come to support West Brom?
I had it forced upon me thankfully. My parents were both Albion supporters although my Grandad was a Ger. That´s where I got my Albion links from, and also where my like for Rangers stems from. Been a season ticket holder for a while now. Love every minute of it, plenty of ups and plenty of downs.
3) Happy with the appointment of Steve Clarke?
I had my heart set on Ralf Rangnick. We´d certainly looked for an ambitious choice with Ranieri and Rangnick being the front runners, unfortunately, the reality is we´re just not that attractive, mainly due to our budget and size of the club. However, we insist on appointing good coaches and in Clarke that´s what we have. I would say I was reasonably happy with our appointment of Clarke. If he carries on at this rate, then I´ll be delighted!
4) What are your expectations for the season?
My expectations for this season are first and foremost to survive and finish as the top Midlands Team. That tag means a lot to us after spending so long in the shadows of Aston Vile. I´m hoping for another mid-table finish and Clarke to make us a little more expansive whilst building on the foundations left by Hodgson.
5) Happy with the transfer business done in the summer?
I´ve been delighted with our summer so far. The important business was to sign Foster permanently; to which we have done. He was quality for us last season so that was pleasing. The signings of Lukaku and Rosenberg are statements of intent, especially the former who has had a promising start to his Albion career. Claudio Yacob, relatively unknown, has also been exceptional so far. Totally running the show against Liverpool. Felt good to smash them by the way!!
6) Which West Brom players should Everton be worried about?
Peter Odemwingie is obviously a danger but I think Romelu Lukaku if he starts will give you the most worries. He´ll certainly feature at some point. We´ll look to control the game and the likes of James Morrison will be important to us if we´re to do that. Yacob & Mulumbu will look to set the foundations by winning the midfield battle.
7) Adrian Chiles, misunderstood or just a beaut with a massive head?
Adrian Chiles, ahhh. The man who sat there on TV whilst Steve Bull**** ripped into his football club. What supporter lets a dingle do that, eh? It would be like an Everton fan sitting there and allowing a Liverpool legend to rip into them and not reply. No backbone! That added to quite frankly poor presenting skills make me rather embarrassed. Still, he´s an Albion fan I suppose.
8) Now onto Everton, what are your memories of us as a club?
I don´t really have many to be honest. Of course beating you in 1968 (had to mention it, sorry!) would be up there, although I wasn´t around at the time. It was our last major silverware. As a club, I always see them as a club punching above their weight due to the fine skills of a superb manager. You don´t have the biggest budget but the way Moyes has utilised it has been brilliant. Without wishing to be horrible towards Everton, he deserves his chance at United, in my opinion, once Fergie gives up.
9) Who do you rate as Everton´s dangermen?
Nicky Jelavic. As a Rangers supporter I´ve seen plenty of him to know he´ll be a handful and he´s taken to life in the Premier League extremely well. I´m also expecting Steven Naismith to score, purely to annoy me. Leon Osman has always appeared to have a good game against us so no doubt he´ll continue that trend. Saying that, Felliani and Jelavic are certainly the two which give me cause for concern.
9) You have a spare £20 in your arse pocket and you have to bet on this weekends match, what is your score prediction and first goalscorer?
That £20 would buy me three or four maybe even five pints at the pub!! If I was to bet which I very rarely do with the Albion, it would probably be 1-1 with Lukaku scoring for us and one of the former Rangers men scoring for Everton.
10) And finally, what are your feelings on Pineapple on Pizza?
Pineapple is disgusting so it would be nowhere near my pizza. Meat feast, you just quite simply cannot go wrong.
