80,000 Evertonians…

GrandOldTeam’s facebook fan page has exceeded 80,000 Fans… that’s Goodison Park packed to the rafters, twice!

Our leading Evertonian fan site Facebook page has becoming particularly renown for offering fans worldwide, instant, biased live match updates, where a ‘world class finish’ by Osman is likely to by all accounts, a toey from two yards out and a ‘questionable penalty decision for Everton’ is always a ‘stone wall penalty’. We have no qualms of telling it exactly as it is!

With the 2010/2011 season over, we of course will be utilising our social media to keep you up to date with all the transfer shenanigans, rumours and outright nonsense over the summer – while also casually asking 80,000 Evertonians the issues that matter to them – whether it’s an “ice lolly” or a “lolly ice”? and the all important “do you like pinapple on pizza?”

Anyway – a place with so many Evertonians is surely worth at least a lazy click? And that click is here – where you’ll be able to see our coverage of our 1-0 victory over Chelsea. We’d be made up if you ‘Liked’ the page while your there!

We’re also doing well on twitter, where nearly 5,000 of you follow our ramblings tweets on there. ‘Follow’ us by visiting twitter.com/grandoldteam.

Oh – and while we’re beating our chest with pride – we’ve just won the double! We have won both the Readers Choice and Editors Choice awards for best English Premier League Club Forum. If you’ve yet to check out our forum – please do so! A hive of activity during the summer months. We’ve already had discussions linking us with moves for Michael Owen, DJ Campbell Jay Bothroyd
