Bidwell Wins Academy Award Double

Everton starlet Jake Bidwell won a prestigious double at Everton´s Academy awards at St George´s Hall.

Bidwell received both the Academy Player of the Season and the Keith Tamlin award for his efforts both on and off the pitch for the Blues.

The 18-year-old defender has been in excellent form all season and has contributed to the Blues strong showing in the Premier Academy League.

Bidwell became Everton´s youngest player in a European competition when he appeared against BATE Borisov in December 2009 and was presented with his award by Chief Executive Robert Elstone.
