Sven Goran Eriksson has expressed his opinion that on loan Everton striker Yakubu will want to stay at Leicester City if the club are promoted to the Premier League.
Yakubu has been in influential form scoring four goals in eight appearances since joining the Foxes on loan from Everton in January and is wanted at the Walkers Stadium for the long term.
The Nigerian´s future at Everton is unclear, despite limited forward options at Goodison and Eriksson feels winning promotion will be key to Leicester´s prospects of keeping the powerful forward.
"I´m quite sure if we go up that Yakubu will stay, and he wants to," said Eriksson in the Leicester Mercury.
