Mucha-Do About Nothing

Slovak ´keeper Jan Mucha has spoken of his frustration at not being able to dislodge Tim Howard thus far at Everton.

The international shot stopper arrived at Goodison Park fresh from turning out for his native Slovakia at the FIFA World Cup 2010, but has failed to make an impact as a Toffee, making only two first team appearances in the Carling Cup.

He is not happy with his designated "Number Two" role behind American Tim Howard and has spoken to a newspaper in his homeland regarding his situation.

"I thought I would be in a better situation than I am in reality," he said in an interview with newspaper Przeglad Sportowy.

"On the other hand, I must say that nobody had promised me anything before my arrival."

It has been difficult for Mucha to display his skill for Evertonians due to his limited appearances. He is impatient for opportunities to impress, but fears that opportunity may not arise whilst at the Toffees.

"So far I have earned just two appearances in the Carling Cup and since the last one I have only been on the bench.

"At Legia I experienced a long wait to become a first-choice keeper and I will not endure such another long wait."
