Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Two second half goals condemned Everton to a 2-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal came from behind to claim all three points.

Everton took the lead on 24 minutes, when referee Lee Mason and assistant Stephen Child controversially allowed Louis Saha to open the scoring despite the Frenchman seemingly taking advantage of an offside position.

Arsenal hit back in the second half through Andrei Arshavin and Laurent Koscielny.

Everton have now lost 13 of their last 15 Premier League trips to Arsenal and sit at the wrong end of the table with 27 points from 24 matches.

Bad times.
