Everton have signed 19-year-old Greek youngster Apostolos Vellios from Iraklis FC, according to the clubs website.
The Blues have pounced for the six foot three inches tall striker after he failed to come to an agreement with Iraklis on a new contract. His current deal was set to expire in the summer. The details of the deal are unknown, but it is believed Everton have paid approximately £250´000 for his services.
Everton have not confirmed the deal at this time.
Vellios has represented Greece at Under 17 and Under 19 level and has made 22 professional appearances since his debut in 2008.
