Everton have officially announced the sale of South African winger Steven Pienaar to Tottenham Hotspur.
The player initially confirmed his own transfer using Twitter, but the club itself has given final confirmation via the official website.
The 28-year-old, who only had several months left on his contract with Everton, moves to Spurs immediately, with the fee unconfirmed. However, it is believed that Everton will receive approximately £3m for his services.
