Hello. Thank you for reviewing the product on Christmas Day. Sorry you didn’t like the bottle opener (I hope you liked the Mishmash Print you also got/haven’t reviewed). With regards to your comment “it played a tune and then just died” the bottle opener should play 30 seconds of Z Cars as per the product listing and accompanying video, and tons of example Tweets. I do test every bottle opener before sending, however there’s every chance the batteries could fail, an issue on transit etc but that doesn’t seem to be an issue here as it plays the tune. As you’ll note, there’s 100+ reviews of the product and 100+ tweets, it’s typically very well received. But I have reached out like another customer has, it’s broken and what else can I say on a review? Also I have reviewed the mish mash that I bought and I’ve reviewed it with full stars if you’re trying to insinuate that I’m only interested in giving a negative review? It doesn’t play the tune it played for about 2 seconds and died? Don’t get your back up over a review, I was embarrassed and £10 is a lot for something that doesn’t work. Your original review on Christmas Day did not explain it was faulty, or that it played for “about 2 seconds”. You said it played a bit of a tune – as per the product listing “when you open a bottle 30 seconds of Z Cars plays” – hence the response. I wasn’t sure if it failed, or you expected a longer song.
Now that you say it was faulty, I’ll refund it even if you refuse to return it. I will process this today.
The bottle opener was tested, and sent out on 1st December. Attempts by Royal Mail to deliver it to your address were unsuccessful. It was later collected at a Royal Mail Service Point. I suspect it would have been damaged in transit, or the battery has simply gone.

I ordered two if these when they became available again. They arrived promptly and they both do the job fine although one does sound like its in its last legs. Probably just needs a new battery. Certainly wasn’t worth complaining about or seeking a refund as when alls said and done we’re all doing what we can for our great club.
