Rotating a front 3 of Zlatan ,DCL & Moise....you wouldnt want that ?
The problem is we toss Zlatan in, finish 8th, he leaves or retires and we are right back where we were with hundreds of minutes that could have gone to players we will have next season tossed right down the drain. It just isn't worth it to me.

Wholly on board and agree completely. There needs to be a plan for incremental growth, I like Ancelotti, he’s a real football man, I’d back him for three years to build, I do however have a concern he might just be here for the money. Also the instability, he’s going to be linked with every high profile job, once a manager gets sacked. The squad is a basket case and needs total focus and commitment for three years to build and balance. I can’t say hand on heart I believe he will be here in 3years.

If he brought in a 38 year old centre forward, the whole thing just turns into a bit of circus and the very opposite of what we need, in terms of the profile and personality of a player.
its about winning and a winning mentality. Sometimes you need experience, in sport in business, works both ways..short term win changes mentality for the long game..

United and Arsenal maybe. Chelsea had a blip but they're still an elite club. Spurs are a better example of how long it takes to build up and even if they can't get top 4 this year they're still right there. Ultimately all of these clubs are still loaded and prestigious. It'll be hard for any to totally tank.
You're only 'elite' when you're up there, you stop winning and you're 'stuttering' a bit longer and its 'struggling' then its 'in transition' onto 'sleeping giant' 'basket case' then 'perennial relegation candidates'
If you're really lucky you might make it back to 'yo-yo club'

Elite is as Elite does.

Firstly in January can you name any quality forward that would be available to come in.
And would their clubs let them?

Secondly thats the whole point ,be it 6 months or 18 months ,he helps us get into a creditable position then we can sign younger promising players.

Just look at the table , in case youve missed it we need to win matches & I have no doubts whatsoever he can help do this.

Striker is quite literally the last position we need to sign someone at. Every other position has less depth, quality or both.

I also don't think that signing a 38 year old to play instead of Richarlison, Kean and DCL is going to show promising young players that we are the club for them. Reality is we need to be a haven for young players to be given time to learn and make mistakes without being dumped and losing their chance. Buying Zlatan when Richarlison and Dom have just started to show promise is not doing that.

We will win matches. We don't need him to avoid relegation if that's what you're implying.

You mean we gain hundreds of hours where DCL and Kean learn under one of the most prolific strikers of his generation?
Nothing better for their development

Want to know, why City, Mordor, Spurs and Chelsea won’t sign Zlaten, because the trick is to pick the winners on their way up not on the way down, that and he’s 38 and it’s woeful from a business perspective.

You're not getting the gist of this.
Moshiri has bankrolled this club to the tune of 500 mil .Like any investor would he looks at the league and alarm bells start ringing.
He done the same with Martinez , Koeman and now Silva. He will do anything and everything to protect his investment or the lot goes tits up stadium and all.
So if it takes bringing in a proven ( time & time again) winner and top goalscorer in the short term thats what he will do.

Ask your self this....what happens if DCL & Richy get a long injury ?
Would you trust Oumar & Tosun ?
Its obvious Moshiri doesnt.

I think Moshiri is wrong to do that. And his record since taking over seems to suggest he might not quite have the hang of this yet.
