It's exactly what worries me about Ancelotti too. We have to stop thinking we can catch up to the top teams with one or two moves. It needs to be a process.

There needs to be a plan for incremental growth, I like Ancelotti, he’s a real football man, I’d back him for three years to build, I do however have a concern he might just be here for the money. Also the instability, he’s going to be linked with every high profile job, once a manager gets sacked. The squad is a basket case and needs total focus and commitment for three years to build and balance. I can’t say hand on heart I believe he will be here in 3years.
If he brought in a 38 year old centre forward, the whole thing just turns into a bit of circus and the very opposite of what we need, in terms of the profile and personality of a player.
