to be fair to the lad I've known him since he was 7 (ex wife's cousin) and he's always been a decent lad. Yes he was youth cup winning captain, was also slotting Helen Chamberlain (soccer am) for a while when he was at torquay utd. IF he has lamped her, knowing him as i do, then i would guess he was heavily provoked. Completely out of character for him to just smack anybody, never mind a bird (?)
