My mother in law this time round was a belter, she died some years ago, old school, looked like Old Mother Riley. She advised me to give the wife a good smack if she started nagging and moaning, I should have listened to her as I'm always having to listen to her daughter:blink:

The far north of jylland, near to a village called Dybvad. The nearest town is Frederikshavn. We're pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Although it's not quite as remote as the place we live in now.

Just got the little task of learning Danish ...:huh:

Ah I see, still some 200 km from where I live.

Danish, Swedish, Norweigan has been categorised as being some of the most difficult languages to learn, only surpassed by by Chinese, Korean and Japanese apparantly. :blink:

I get on Ok with my in-laws. The fact they're in New Zealand helps though.

The wife's an only child so there's no-one else to worry about

I think that's Norwegian, a different language - although related in many ways.
