Can't believe how many people seem to like garlic. It is my number 1 hate of all time. I would rather have my eyes pricked with a needle than eat garlic.

I'm struggling to think of the last time I cooked a meal that didn't contain garlic, onions and mushrooms.

Usually go to chippie for fish & chips but can't face queueing in the cold today. Make do with a tin of Sausages and spaghetti in tomato sauce, on toasted muffins, with a couple of mini pork pies.

Sweet corn is the most pointless food in the world: something that you eat and comes out the same in obviously isn't doing the job.

In my day, not many went to Uni. Uni was only for the very clever, or the elite. The first time I ever met anyone who had been to Uni was when I did my National Service in the 1950's.
