No that's the name of the 3 together. I always put onion carrot and celery through a mini blender, it looks like sludge but gently fried off it's fantastic.

Thats what I do for a shepherds pie. Never occurred to me to try it with sommet else. Might have a play with that. Does it work with beef mince/meat balls?
