Your Christmas Eve

Making some mince pies. Every year I tell myself to wrap the Christmas presents early ; do I do it ? Nope, not this year either, so an hour or so of becoming increasingly annoyed at sellotape awaits. Will also make some chicken, leek and potato soup for Boxing day as I'll eat far too much tomorrow. I'll decant my plum gin and damson gin for tomorrow, both are dangerously drinkable.

It seems I stockpile port every year and never drink it.

It was brought to my attention yesterday of how many bottles there were so today I'm trying to make a dent in the supplies to prove a point.

Think its all ill be drinking the next fortnight.

I do like a glass of nice Port.

Salmon & other fish related stuff tasted. Soon lighting candles to those relatives who don't need ham anymore, and then we feast nordic-style.

Put an Everton Santa hat on to get in the spirit of things ?

Take some spare blue santa hats to adorn the statues that are not there then really flip your lid about it?

Did some last minute shopping this morning fighting the madness, back home, out to the local park for a quick smoke and now suitably relaxed for the rest of the day although I do need too wrap some presents at some point which is one of my least favourite jobs.
