It was the fact that he declared himself unfit to play for us, then a week later flew out to play for Nigeria. Moyes just had enough of him putting his country before his club that pays his wages. I think Cahill has been/is far more loved by Evertonians than Yobo ever was.

We all blindly believe what happened though. Maybe he actually wasnt fit enough to play and then with a few days rest he could.

He never complained when left out of the side either when sometimes he was (wrongly in my opinion)

And this myth about him switching off every game etc does my head in. It happened like 3 times in 7 odd seasons. Distin does worse. So too does Jagielka these days.
