How did he play tonight? Saw his late headed chance.

Was dipping in and out but saw a post on here saying they got in behind at one stage - anything to do with Yerri?

Finally, how was his distribution? Did he look comfortable on the ball?

And I second all the above posts saying he seems sound. Exactly what we want at Everton - a competitive snide with a winners mentality on the pitch, and a BFG, gentleman and man of the people off it.
Stunk the place out so slow jags is a better option waste of money.

I did not see the game but note some posters on here are saying Capt Jags might be a better option. That's a bit of a worry to me. Capt Jags is a club legend and possibly the PL's greatest ever captain, but I genuinely think Father Time has caught up with him a little...

Ignore the joke comments on here, he was sound. Strolled through the game and I only saw one misplaced pass. Totally comfortable on the ball and quicker than you'd think at first too. The one time they threatened the guy came through Holgate and Jags and Mina was there covering the cross when it came in. Not at all tested like but hardly put a foot wrong.

Him and Gomes both seem very likeable, unaffected young men. Their comportment reminds me of my eldest lad's, albeit their being much better at togger than he is.

This game can be trickery for a new centre back because you don't know if players in front of you take it seriously or not.
But you know the opponent team will give their best shot.
And he stayed focus for entire match which I like.

Every time he has the ball he does some little shimmy thing to change direction, sort of faking one way and going the other. He seems to have better feet than I thought he did, there was no bambi on ice moments.
