..I have a distinct memory of Emlyn Hughes playing LB for Blackpool at Goodison. I know he got inside the skin of Evertonians for that drunken chant but I did get to know him a very little bit and he was always decent to me. Taking folk as you find them, he was ok and the bloke passed away quite young with a dreadful illness.

I scored a penalty past him in about 1980 at the Emlyn Hughes soccer school. Got a signed photo. Don't know where it is now.
Back on topic, Mina to start this weekend in place of Zouma, who by the way is very good.

I feel he has to play in place of Zouma. He will be needed against Chelsea so needs a couple of games along side Keane. I also think his goal threat may be important against Brighton, they haven't conceded in their last three. A goal from a corner might come in handy.

As I said,he upset me for about 5 seconds! Outside the football pitch he was actually quite likeable! Only met him briefly once,though, at a charity do.

If he comes in against Chelsea and plays well doea that mean the end of Zouma even though he done nothing wrong? I Feel Zouma could lose his place due to no fault of his own.

I just felt the way he jogged on the pitch mate he thoroughly deserves his MOTM award.

Seems like a good character doesn't he, in fact all the new players seem to have bedded in really well
