Every time he has the ball he does some little shimmy thing to change direction, sort of faking one way and going the other. He seems to have better feet than I thought he did, there was no bambi on ice moments.
Noticed that too. As I said last night, looks confident on the ball.

..from Brands comments they were desperate to sign him before his success in the World Cup which is encouraging. I recall him saying he watched the England/Columbia game with Silva and Moshiri and they were gutted when he scored.

Indeed.

We have a plan. After the haphazard Walsh period we now look like we can bring in not just excellent footballers, but players who will fit in both in character ( a trait Moyes was excellent at) and in abillity.

I am looking forward to watching us when everyone has had time to settle in. We are still in such an early stage, yet the signs are very encouraging.

He is going to be ace, you can just tell.

Our summer activity has been superb.
This may not be our be signing of the summer (only because you would have to go some to better Digne, Richarlison and possibly Gomes too), but I'd back my house on him becoming the fans favourite. Think he has an infectious personality that reminds me a bit of Usain Bolt. I love him already and he hasn't played a competitive game yet.

I just hope his rustiness doesn't get shown up on Sunday against one of the 3 best teams in the league, not to mention the best player. Why is it that these top teams always have their A team available when they play us.

Brands wanted him at PSV back when he was at Palmeiras I believe, mate.

Barca obviously blew PSV out of the water, but there's a long-standing interest there.

From what I saw with Colombia at the WC, and even last night, we'll be in for some nervy moments every now and then.

But he's young and has a load of potential to grow. And if we defend as a unit he's going to be a beast in terms of defending crosses.
