We can't play 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 as we have the likes of Digne, Coleman, Gomes*, Bernard, Richarlison, Sigurdsson*, Gueye* who should all be starting. Can't see either of the star marked players not being regulars, and that's not even mentioning the likes of Tosun, Walcott, Lookman, who I believe should be starting over Walcott for the next few games. So three starting centre halves is out of the question.
Next game is Keane and Zouma and assuming neither has a shocker it should stay that way for Brighton. Mina comes in for United but it'd be harsh for either CB to lose their place based on one game.
Isn't it nice to have options though? Silva must be made up. Options all over the park. Tosun is benched and comes on and looks hungry and is firing in the goals. Walcott isn't firing so Lookman comes on and looks better. Gomes slots right in and looks class. Digne looks like he's been here years, and if he's tired Baines can still play and do well as long as it's not week after week. Our attacking midfield players are all interchangeable, and Sigurdsson can play in centre midfield or behind the striker.
And that's not even mentioning Niasse who is a proven effective sub, Davies who can come on and do a job, Schneiderlin who needs competition to look interested, DCL who did the business yesterday and always works hard and can be a handful against tired players.
