Dont know what more you think ANY defender can do in that situation.

He done exactly what I hoped he would do....prevent a near certain goal.
I decent reader of the game sees the ball in traffic with the strong possibility of a break away and takes the correct position early.Keane is thinking about where he left his slippers.

If Vardy had pushed on into the box then played the old soldier and gone down,penalty/red card you might have seen it differently.Keane is an accident waiting to happen every match. He just doesn't read the game on any level.

Obviously you have a loathing of Keane... hE has been very good this season.

Franco baresi he is not, but he also isn't crap.

Not true don't loath him, just don't see him as the CB we need to challenge for the higher positions. If you think he's a top defender, then that's your opinion. He'd do well back at Burnley or at Huddersfield etc.Any team who park the bus.

There is a middle ground... He isn't crap and he isn't a top defender either. Don't agree with the point about challenging the top sides. There is about 2 top class CBs in the league

You either dont rate him (& thats fine) or are judging him on last seasons form , plus you are not prepared to see his vast improvement.

And its at this point we agree to disagree.

In fairness he's improved quite a bit this year, but he was starting from an extremely low position so he couldn't have got any worse really. It's a big positive to see an improvement which is good. But he wouldn't be in my starting XI and when he does play he needs somebody with pace alongside him.

He has the physical attributes to be a decent CB but he just doesn't read the game and so will always be a weakness that teams who play on the break will exploit.Just hope Mina proves to be one of those very few top CBs because the way we set up we need one.
