Yeah usually. The DFB dropped a major clanger yesterday though doing a campaign along the lines of the women's team have been "missing" since their last game complete with missing person photos of the team with the date of their last game on.

our neighbour across river has 12.2 M followers on twitter us only 1.9 M, it shows we have a very limited foreign support, even some eastern european clubs have more than that

The main point here is: so what?
Take Tosun, for instance. 840k followers on instagram, many of whom are, presumably, fanatical Turkish football fans. How many shirts have they bought?
Or Walcott: 2.2m followers, but shows almost nothing on the pitch.
Instagram is an exercise in vanity. It isn't indicative of anything productive.
