I think it's a good way to offer more exposure to the club in other areas of the world , take for example Mina , he has 3 times more followers than the official EFC account , when he moved here automatically his followers that had never heard of Everton before got to see him wearing the Royal Blue Jersey and put Everton on the map for them .
