I've been reflecting on our recent targets and transfer business as a club. We all have our thoughts on the players we are signing, but as s club, it has been a long time since we have been able to aggressively take players off rival premier league clubs. Can't think of any in that category for years.
All three of these targets are players that the clubs did not really want to sell.
Also, bolassie and Kone are at peak age 26 -27. We have not done took much business in that area for a while either.
Just an observation.

nothing to do with him playing for palace, very very good team. It;s just his lack of consistency. I agree with what you say about him being ideal, he has all the attributes, but when does he show them off? People aren't even over-exaggerating when they say he only turns up against the merseyside clubs, i think stats will pretty much back that up. If he was consistent i'd be excited about it, because he would be worth the figures branded about, even if he was 21/22, i'd say he'd have something to work on.
