£25m for an attacker with a goals/assists of less than half that of Anichebe (at Everton/West Brom ) and Kone (at Everton) seems excessive to me.

Pace and power cost a lot and if you've got them you don't have to be that good a footballer to be effective in the right system. Look at Bent, Johnson and Radzinski. None of them would have played higher than the Zingari if they had Beattie's pace.

Bolasie will be a great option for us and will be more of a game changer than we've had in a long time. He'd have got us back on the front foot on Saturday more than Kone or Cleverley.

While we all want the matas and co of this world, after watching cleverley and kone do f all on saturday i've seriously warmed to the idea of bolasie as an option.
One thing i've always said is that no defender likes pace running at them, he may be inconsistent but i'd rather him than a lot of our current options
