It's a shame we get a free fix with the 360 if it breaks down due to rrod otherwise it would piss me off... I wonder if Sony would offer a free fix outside the 1 year warranty.

ive had a red ring twice (lolololol )
first time it was out of warranty but i had a second xbox in warranty and the good people at xbox let me use that to get the first box fixed.
second box broke , out of warranty , but becouse it had the rrod xbox gave me 3 years warranty free and fixed it.
in fact i fixed it myself first but sent it off anyway to get the extra warranty and free month of live.
how do you fix rrod ? well apparently what happened was that the joins on the mother board were not the best.
wrap the box in 2 towels so no air can get in , switch it on for 20 minutes, until it gets hot. then switch it off and let it cool.
switch it on and hey presto , no rrod.
apparently there were 2 bad batches of 360 , 1 batch had falty disk drives which left a ring on disks, the other batch had weak soldering.
ps the problems i had yesterday with fifa are also on the ps3 version according to the ea site.

barcelona , man utd , overated attack but under rated defence , through ball , through ball , through ball , goal............. im actually getting fed up with the online ranked matches.
theres a lot of games where im playing teams off the pitch , but they win 3 -0 with the same tactic and the same goal time and time again.
ive treid closing them down , or sending a team mate , or sending 2 players , holding back and jockeying. nothing works , if the opposing team has 2 pacy players its just a case of 2 through balls , run on to it and your guaranteed either a goal or a penalty and red card.
any tips on how to counter-act this pathetic tactic ?

i did make the comment earlier in the topic about the speed of united... and i think zero it was, who said all teams are even!!
so not sure?? but i deffo noticed it a while back..
i just play a lot of passing until i get clear with the yak to make a run ... crosses and corners are just wank so dont bother unless i have 2 !!

all the teams are even on Clubs mode... Ranked match is a completely different mode.
