Wyness - Resigned

I definitely see it as a positive. This club is poorly managed in terms of:

Marketing
Advertising
Merchandising
Customer Services
Financial Planning

The only good thing the board have done is keep Moyes installed. Wyness has failed, and he's been an expensive failure.

Yeah, it just depends what the replacement is like now

Speaking with my accountant's hat on:

Marketing - what marketing
Advertising - Nothing apart from the usual emails and site stuff
Merchandising - what do we have for sale? JJB sell-off - see Marketing... no shirts!! ETC ETC ETC
Customer Services - hmm pathetic, a marginally improved ticketing service - hawked off to some 0870 service plus Ticketmaster
Financial Planning - what planning, apart from DK, however misguided it was! How hard can it be to manage with so many certains - income, wages (a large, definitely fixed, commitment). Loans with banks that are probably crippling the club...

I could list here a hundred potential improvements - ok I'll kick off with better catering, locking customers (loyal ones at that) in at 2pm not ten to 3... improved entertainment (screens etc.) instead of the same old same old week in week out, the ticketing opportunities (which I have told them about), the size of the shop not to mention the location and the lack of variety (it's a rugby scrum on matchdays)....

I read that Bully has joined his mate in Spain so perhaps this isn't as black as we think it is - he's just jumping ship and showing the lack of loyalty one has come to expect - not quite a Birch but you get the picture.

Take a look at Goodison at 245 - it's empty-ish. I'm using the terminology of "locking the customers in" to mean get them in and keep them in. In other words if you sell [Poor language removed] no one wants it. If the experience outside the 90 mins of the football was any good people would be inside the ground a lot earlier. So, not literally locking them inside the ground but making them want to be in earlier.

How about - better toilet facilities, better catering, better queuing, pro-active stewarding, different action and music on the screens, better choice of beverages, cheaper food...

Hmmm ok.

Well i think your right in a way. I think a big help would be to have big screens showing the 12.45 game on a Saturday, cos i think a few ppl stay in the pub to see as much as this game as they can.

But yea, better food and drink would help, cos in gwladys street, the food area isnt the most appealing, but there isnt really much room for them to improve this.

If he's resigned I'll eat a tramps foot.

Its bullshit.

And why are people saying because its over "the call in"? Its not just Everton that will get the information - Tesco's, Knowsley Borough Council, Liverpool Council, Parliament - all get the info. And do people think that EFC will just tell them all to "be a bit quiet so we can do a big press confrence and all that to soften the blow" - no, when the decision is done it'll be released.

Untill then -- nobody knows [Poor language removed] all, even the people involved.

I've prepared your tramps foot if you're ready. You can either have it for Brekkie or for your tea. But it'll be cold by then and I'll have to stick it in the microwave.

I dont know wether this question has been asked yet but did anyone on here really see his going coming? i know i didnt

This can only mean Kirkby is doomed, otherwise he'd have waited round for his big bonus, after all, thats what he wanted all along no doubt.

Shove your temple of doom up your arse Kenwright.
