I don't want us to lose games, but I wouldn't be too displeased if we finish 16th if it ensures Martinez gets the sack even if, by some miracle, we win the FA Challenge Cup.

Your normally one of the sensible ones on here Matty (no laughing at the back) but the Kopites are renown for this sort of mentality, so I don't think there is anything wrong with using the Kopite label on this occasion.

I do mate if it's branding me one as such when I know you know and everyone else knows I'm not. It's pretty boring people using this term to someone else for having a difference of opinion.

Actually, the more I think about it, why should it be private? You should be proud of your decision and be able to make a cohesive argument as to why you chose which box to tick.

Far from me to influence a vote (I don't have that power as nobody reads my tripe on here), but if you didn't want people to know you wanted Everton to lose football games then you're probably on the wrong site.

Just think it's designed in a way which is leading and already puts a negative spin on voting yes.

Spent far too much time doing research methods at uni...I'm on your side anyway Longy I always want us to win.

If Martinez sorts things out, adapts his tactics and recovers morale then happy days. It would take an upturn in league form and winning the cup. He would need to show a step change in approach particularly around defence. In those circumstances of course I'd like him to stay on

Some big games in April - the next month or so will be make or break for him

By the way - if you click on yes above you can see who voted in favour of Everton losing - wonder why Liverpool fans would bother spending time on here....

Can see the logic behind @matty1878's thinking though, and he does seem a good guy on here. Emotions obviously still high. If you don't agree, say it and move on. No harm done :)
There's the potential for logic behind it, yet in the few cases I've seen I've perceived it (and that's my opinion) as more anti-Martinez emotion.

Maybe if the argument was put across slightly more mature and rounded then it would be less repulsive to the majority of fans.

Hey I still wouldn't agree but I could give it more merit. That's not aimed at @matty1878 by the way, but the argument as a whole.

Simply put, I want Everton to win today regardless of Martinez as Everton is paramount. If we win will it ease my views on Martinez? Not really.

If we lose and it leads to his axe how will I feel? Then I'll be probably be relieved, but not before that. Everton winning is first and foremost.
