I would bring back Steve Walsh as a scout but not for Director of Football role. His forte is scouting and he has been successful in getting the likes of Kante, Gana, etc.

That’s the third time you’ve called me a multi and the third time you’ve been wrong lad. I’m a lurker, I Read the forum Most days and don’t post much but I’m no multi. Don’t take it out on me because nobody even knows what you were trying to do in there but everyone’s laughing at you for posting every 5 minutes after it asking why people hadn’t built a gold statue of you for your oh so clever observation.

I think Steve Walsh is a scout , able to identify young talent but no more than that and probably would not have left his job at Leicester to become chief scout at Everton.

I have no doubt he did recommend both Robertson and Maguire to Everton along with another fifty players who are now in the lower division or in non league football, I see he hasn't mentioned anything like that.

Walsh is a scout who hit the Peter principle with Everton.

As long as Marcel can filter out Steve's bad decisions then it's all win win for Everton.
