Worst performance in our history.

Not the worst performance but the inability to capitalise on a severely weakened team is utterly embarrassing. Even in the first half when we had chances, the game was still fairly even. I thought as the game went on we’d establish ourselves more but we wilted and proved that right now literally any 11 people could be in Liverpool shirts and somehow we’d manage to not win.

Can't sleep tonight this result and performance is just rattling around in my head.
My world is pretty dark place at the moment congratulations Everton you have managed to make it a little bit darker.

Liverpool deserved to win it, that’s that.

we had so many chances in the first half, which we never took, second half we came out terrified of losing, which is never okay, but I suppose, somewhat understandable, against Liverpool, who never lose at Anfield, get the replay beat them
Under the lights at Goodison.

Then you remember we played kids, and as I said it’s full credit to Liverpool, and our problem was literally their fuel. Every ball, Every 50/50, every opportunity, even from a chance ball, they had players driving for it, want it. They were hungry, we were not.

Their players, a few local lads too, knew how important a Derby was, and it was a cracking goal.
But where’s our hunger? Where’s our passion, fight and desire?

They say winners breed winners, and no wins at Anfield in 21 years definitely showed there last night. They were terrified.

I’ve been to away games where we’ve lost 5-0, 5-2, you name it, but to go down without a fight, to a group of kids, in front of 8,000 blues?
Pathetic.

We are what we are it's there for everyone to see, whether an Evertonian or not, the team/quad aren't good enough. We need to get behind Ancelotti as he starts to build a new team we can be proud of.

Utterly embarrassing that. At least it will have opened Ancelottis eyes about the task ahead and how this group of players are the exact opposite of what he looks for in a player, cowards not leaders.

For context, a similar line up got twatted 5-0 by Aston Villa.

Absolute frauds in our team, gutless and simply not arsed. Schneiderlin should be chased out of the club, never bothered his arse to get out of second gear, never broke forward, never chased back, never closed anyone down, never made himself available for a pass. Just strolled around all day, utterly disinterested. Made Alex Nyarko look like Peter Reid. There's no way that there's not one of the young lads at the club that wouldn't contribute far more. I [Poor language removed] despise that [Poor language removed]. And Gylfi Sigurdsson wasn't much better.

Just saw a stat that there was only 2yrs between the average ages of the teams. Is that right?!

(For clarity, it wouldn’t make the second-half performance any better, whoever we were playing)

It wasn't even close to being a similar line up.
