worst ever tackles

I just googled the Souness one to remind myself, pretty shocking but not as shocking as how fat Ally McCoist is in that game! Not far off modern day Big Nev standards!!

Hard pressed to find a more despicable one than Gerrard on Naysmith.

That Souness one in Europe without a doubt.

It wasn't even a tackle it was assault. Was crying at the bit where straight after he went down on one knee to complain to the ref to show the ref the back of his leg as though he'd be maimed in the process.

That clip always cracks me up, total brass neck on him acting like he's been foulled.

The worst two I ever seen at Goodison and it virtually ruined finished players careers-
An Ageing Dave Mackay taking Jimmy Husband out on the half way line in the league cup at home, never got sent off!
At Goodison v Altrichinham in the FA Cup John Conerlley double leg break in front of me as I stood in the standing paddock - The noise was sickening!
One I did not see was it Billy whitehurst? on Paual Bracewell away finished his career also!

Remember a 0-0 at Goodson v Southampton I think ref was having a shocker natives were reckless, some scaly tried to tackle the ref with a milk crate launched from the street end

Keane on Haarland ........ simply because it was premeditated.

Oh, and pretty much any tackle from the Leeds team of the 70s

Anyone enlighten me,Surs player on Jimmy Husband. ? Never seen anything like it,Jimmy Husband came down like a rag doll, unbelievible tackle.

Dave Mackay took out Jimmy Husband with a waist high scissor tackle, what made it worse was that Mackay shared the footballer of the year award that season with Tony Book

Reidy was hard but I never remember him crocking anyone deliberately. Just never shirked a tackle. He was Makelele before the guy existed!
Really try Ricky Hill for Luton at Goodison for giving Trevor Steven a rough time . I believe he warned him and then did him. I believe he broke his ankle

The Rat raking his studs down the back of Disdin's calf.

He almost broke Kev in half in the same game.

Then there was Kev exacting revenge in the 3-3 derby.

Thay one on Distin was horrible in the extreme, a proper sh1tbags 'tackle', what made it worse for me, and every other time he did his stuff, was the feigning injury to throw doubt into the situation.

On top of that, the denial of the ferengi over gerrards attempted manslaughter on naysmith despite the accompanying photograpbic evidence, two feet on mid air and rage across his bubonic face.

Strange it's 2 r/s ones that stand out :)
