As I suggested, it was nice for it to be prefaced with outrage as nobody apparently speaks for Taiwan who are censored by the long influential arms of China infecting our media. I hadn't actually heard of it until this pandemic started, but so many of the decisions and advice that its given have been political that it deserves some serious questions asked of it.

Funding: How have we allowed a situation whereby people like Bill Gates are allowed to be major funders of this organisation? This is no way to have an independent health organisation if that's what it's supposed to be since people like Gates can easily be pressured by countries like China over his Microsoft business and regulation etc. He's just a patsy.

Health expertise: The WHO failed to warn the world about the pandemic, so that we couldn't prepare adequately. They gave us wrong information saying there was no human to human transmission, so that we didn't put in place mechanisms to defend ourselves against travellers, social distancing, mass spectator events etc. In fact they condemned countries that did close their borders. We still don't know where the virus came from in China and how - WHO failing. Nor do we have samples from the start that we can now compare our samples to which would show how the virus has changed. The WHO seems hugely culpable in all of this. Maybe you could pass that off as just incredible incompetence, but then there is the stuff about Taiwan... It's not a coincidence in my opinion.

Leadership: There is a petition signed by over a million people asking for the chief of the WHO to resign. Apparently, the WHO refuses to allow Taiwan membership, so that Taiwanese people cannot participate in discussions about health of its citizens or give the world data about how its handled the crisis etc etc. One wonders why the WHO would refuse Taiwan's money? Then I saw this interview with a Taiwanese journalist asking a WHO senior official some pretty reasonable questions.

Fox News gives it the outrage it truly deserves...

They did a number of times say, No, we don't see it as a pandemic, when it was obvious to everybody...why?
Who is paying the piper, or funding the vote to get various people elected

How many lives have they put in danger around the world? 275,000 dead as of this date! These idiots have turned an epidemic into a pandemic with their misinformation and corruption to parrot China's imposed truths.

You talk about regulations when it's clear and simple that WHO refusing Taiwan to participate is a political decision. Don't talk about saving lives. The interview tells you everything you need to know about much they value Taiwanese lives. They don't even want to talk about it.

Would you be happy to let these jokers run the world's response to the next pandemic? Outrage is the least it deserves.

Germany's Der Spiegel published the allegations this weekend, citing intelligence from the country's Federal Intelligence Service, known as the 'Bundesnachrichtendienst' (BND).

According to the BND: 'On January 21, China's leader Xi Jinping asked WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to hold back information about a human-to-human transmission and to delay a pandemic warning.

Best not use a racist/white nationalist dog-whistler to promote what is generally already known: China (similar to the US and UK) has been trying to downplay the destructive role of covid-19 based on spreading misinformation or not acting on good information. But this is not so much the WHO's fault; the decentralized organization at WHO makes it rely on whatever information it is given by governments, particularly those governments that have major global influence.

Gates Foundation is a major funder because they have a lot of money, but many other smaller private foundations also fund the WHO. What the right-wing idiots are doing to Gates is ridiculous: calling for his arrest because he is funding a vaccine. This is 5G level stuff. And Tucker Carlson and other FOX viewers are lock-step with this bogus anti-rationalist agenda.

Any organisation that takes funding off a stakeholder and in turn can directly influence their stock price is a serious no go for me.
