I think we need to start having a look at Alcaraz. We know what Doucoure can do and we’re safe now. Cmon Moyes ffs.

Yeah, the only excuse I can think of is they are purposefully limiting his starts to not trigger the purchase clause. Im pretty sure(confidence level 12%) if he started every match for the rest of the season it would be an obligation at the agreed price.

I think it’s fair to label it ‘a problem position.’

When you have 3 senior players built to play there, and the best man for the job is playing out of position, there’s work to do.

We arent safe, I wish people would stop saying that, would you be happy if Moyes said im not arsed if we dont win?

For whatever reason the manager thinks we have a better chance with Doucs to start and Charly to come on when they are a bit tired, I disagree, like you, but I dont consider us safe.

Thats not to say I think we have any chance of going down, but thats cos I expect us to win some more games.

Anyway, I think Moyes likes the boy Charly and I doubt he needs another look.

There’s a difference between us being safe and Moyes avoiding saying we’re safe for fear of it demotivating the squad.

We are 100% safe thanks to Moyes and if these players need to feel that relegation is a threat for them to perform for us, then they aren’t made of the right stuff.
