Is Jose Baxter really a better option from the bench than Vellios?

If Vellios could play more than one position he might have been on the bench. But there isn't really much point in having both Straq & Vellios on the bench. Moyes would never bring on TWO centre forwards. Baxter has been boss for the reserves lately.

I wouldnt get excitied about seeing Barkley again, by the time we do the fearless youngster who burdt on the scene will have had all that coached out of him
from what am getting told we wont be seeing much more of the kid fullstop

MOTD interview prediction

"Any away point is a good point. Molyneaux is a difficult place to come to etc etc etc

You sure he didnt mean to say home? It's a tough place for Wolves to ever get a result

IMO you did enough to win yesterday and were the better side, just one of those days I suppose (and if the lino made the right call you'd have won at a canter)

It had the feeling of a preseason game so I can understand the frustrations from your fans as we were there for the taking

Long day for a 0-0, pity Jelavic's goal was disallowed I think we'd have got a few more had it done so!

That's me for the season, off to China on Wednesday so will not see the final game against NU.

Report card reads: appalling start, good transfer activity, much better finish, Plenty of what ifs - especially the Derby at Anfield and the Semi-Final.

Hopefully we will see transfer activity early in the summer.

Positives: Jelavic (although we need someone else as he obviously cannot score every game), Piennar (we must re-sign him), Heitinga - should be next Club Captain, Gibson - inspired buy, Hibbert - he must score in 2012/13

Negatives: - Tim Cahill, as much as I love him his best days have passed, Rodwell - sadly injury prone, we should cash in if possible, Jagielka - similarly we should cash in.

As ever love following the Blues, both ups and downs - look forward to seeing you all in 2012/13!

Spot on assessment mate, I agree with all of that.

Dissapointing result yesterday, but it wasn't a dissapointing performance, I thought we played some very nice passing, optimistic football. Similar to how we played against Stoke the other night, but that's football and sometimes you just get unlucky. To have a valid goal dissalowed is hard to take, especially when it could of secured 7th place for us. At the end of the day, if it wasn't for the match officials yesterday, we would of left with 3 points. So you can't really blame the players for that.

I'm going to guess Barkley is being kept under wraps as he's going to be sold and Moyes doesn't want him to become an integral part of the team, nor does he want the fans to become attached to him, when he'll be off very soon.

That's just a guess, though.
